The navel, also known as the belly button, or ‘pypok’ in Russian, is something everyone in the world has. It is the imprint of our creation, where the umbilical cord, that life line which siphoned genetic information, nutrition and analogous life giving pixie dust from our mother, was once attached. After the last crusty piece finally fell off, we had very little use for this, life’s footprint, other then perhaps to store little patches of unwanted lint.

The bottom line about our navel however, is that not only is it a reminder of our creation, it can also be the acronym for our butterfly like transformation.
